THE TRUE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST
HOLY BIBLE PREACHING & TEACHING
"God is one." And there is none other God but one (1 Corinthians 8:4). Though some are quick to proclaim that God is the Father (and he is) they lack understanding of the mysteries of the Father (Colossians 2:2). The One True God of the Holy Scriptures revealed himself to his holy apostles and prophets as the only True God who self exist as Spirit and Word. God who is invisible and couldn't and can't be seen with the natural eyes, manifest in the flesh for several reasons. Here is a list of some:
To die for the sins of the world (1 Corinthians 15:3).
To destroy the works of the devil (1 John 3:8)
To manifest and declare the name and identity of the Father (Isaiah 9:6; John 17:6,12,26).
To reconcile the world unto himself by Jesus Christ (2 Corinthians 5:18-19 & Colossians 1:19-23).
To grant us the promise of eternal life (1 John 2:25; 5:10-12)
Truly, Jesus Christ is the one true God (the Father) manifest in the flesh (1 Timothy 3:16).
1 Timothy 3:15-16 But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth. And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.
There Is Only One True God
John 17:3 And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.
The Holy Bible emphatically with great conviction delcares that "There is Only One True God" and that this One True God is the LORD that created all things by Himself (Isaiah 44:24; 45:12,18). It also declares "For all the gods of the nations are idols: but the LORD made the heavens" (Psalms 96:5 & 1 Chronicles 16:26). Deuteronomy 6:4-5 are the cornerstone scriptures for all doctrine regarding the One True God of Israel.
"Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD: And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might" (Deuteronomy 6:4-5). When Jesus Christ was asked, "...Which is the first commandment of all?" Jesus replied, "...The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord: And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment" (Mark 12:28-30).
It's very important to know and understand that God is absolutely one. There is no distinct persons or seperation in his Spirit and Word essence. The holy scriptures teach diligently to "...know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me. I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no saviour. I have declared, and have saved, and I have shewed, when there was no strange god among you: therefore ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, that I am God (Isaiah 43:10-12). God will always say, "beside me there is no God" (Isaiah 44:6).
The word of the Lord is consistent with the single identity of the One True God of Israel. Starting with, "In the beginning God..." to "...The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ..." Genesis 1:1 & Revelation 22:21). Please understand that the apostles taught, "But to us there is but one God, the Father..." (1 Corinthians 8:6). And this one God the Father "was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself..." (2 Corinthians 5:19).
The apostle Paul also wrote, "...God was manifest in the flesh..." (1 Timothy 3:16). That means, God was in his Son. God was made visible in his Son. God came in flesh (from heaven) as Jesus Christ to die (being put to death in the flesh) for the sins of the world and to grant us the hope of eternal life. "...And this life is in his Son" (1 John 5:11-12). God is one and completely indivisible (impossible to divide or separate, not divisible or divided) in his Spirit and Word Identity. God is truly one.
The apostles of Jesus Christ never taught that there were persons (plurality of Gods or personalities) in the Godhead (the supreme God) but wrote with great power and authority to "Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily" (Colossians 2:8-9) That means, (the one supreme God) God the Father the eternal Spirit and Word dwelt in Christ bodily. And there is only one Spirit and One God and Father of all (Ephesians 4:4-6). know that this "...mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ" was revealed to the apostles of the Lord Jesus Christ (Colossians 2:2-3).
Jesus Christ is known to his apostles as the express image of his (God's) person (singular) (Hebrews 1:1-3). There is one person - God manifest in the flesh as Jesus Christ - The Son of God. Jesus is the image of the invisible God and creator of all things (Colossians 1:13-17). When you see Jesus you see the Father (John 14:8-11). However, we can never ever see the Invisible Word and Spirit of God - for he is invisible and cannot be seen with the natural eyes (John 1:18 & 1 John 4:12). Jesus Christ is the invisible Father manifest/who has come in the flesh (1 Timothy 1:15-17; 3:15-16 & 1 John 4:1-3; 2 John 7).
Would you like more spiritual truth? Are you thirsting to know and understand the God that made you? Wonderful! Jesus proclaimed with great boldness, "...I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him" (John 14:6-7).
Alleluia. IF YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND YET:
"And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life. Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen" (1 John 5:20-21).
